HAY strives to make quality design available to as many people as possible. This naturally requires a solid digital setup. Kraftvaerk has been chosen as partner for the migration project of HAY’s B2B e-commerce. This is part of a larger digitalisation process at the strong design brand.

HAY has launched an ambitious digitalisation project, the first step being to change their ERP solution. The goal is to optimise the B2B purchasing process, customer service and online presence. With design-focused world citizens and a global growth of between 20 and 40% in recent years, HAY wants to grow their online business. Kraftvaerk is part of the project and is responsible for migrating existing functionalities onto the new Episerver platform.

With a newly developed product configurator built on Dynamic 365 configuration models, HAY gets an optimised setup that can handle new products and their many versions.

The new solution consists of real-time integration from Episerver and inRiver to Dynamics 365. Integration with the product configurator makes it possible to optimise the launch of new products.

HAY has initiated a comprehensive digitalisation process, with the first phase replacing the company's ERP solution – from Navision to Dynamics 365. Our solution is very complex with a product configurator and many integrations for suppliers, carriers and, not least, our web platform. Changing an ERP solution is a highly business-critical task, which is why it was very important for us to find a partner with deep technical insight and great business understanding. We selected Kraftvaerk, who after a few meetings and a minimum of documentation managed to present a convincing prototype of a critical part of the project.

Streamlined and optimised process.

Kraftvaerk has been chosen to migrate HAY's B2B e-commerce solution onto a new Episerver and inRiver with Dynamics 365 as an underlying engine. The core of the solution is real-time integration from Episerver and inRiver to Dynamics 365 combined with product configuration built on Dynamics 365 generic configuration models. With the solution, HAY will be able to streamline and optimise the process in the continuous effort of launching new products and the infinite number of versions that can be configured.
